Name of walking trail: The Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail
Length: 4.5 miles

A 4.5 mile trail following distinctive 'blue-ringed' marker posts. Starts and finishes at Beechenhurst Lodge, but can be easily reached on foot from the Fountain Inn by following a 3 mile connecting route along the Family Cycle Trail - making the walk 10.5 miles in total.

This walk links almost 20, specially commissioned, sculptures which will captivate the imagination and stimulate awareness of their beautiful and natural setting. The trail is managed by the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trust, in partnership with the Forestry Commission, who have a long record of commissioning sculpture and related temporary projects on this site, commencing in 1986. Open from dawn to dusk every day of the year. There is no admission charge, although there is a charge for parking at Beechenhurst.

Click the tabs above for a trail map, latest weather conditions and photographs. The map is accurate but should not be relied upon for precise directions. We recommend you purchase the official route leaflet, available from Beechenhurst Lodge, at the start of the walk.
