A 3 mile loop, following distinctive 'red-ringed' marker posts. Starts and finishes at Cannop Ponds, but can be easily reached on foot from the Fountain Inn by following a 1.5 mile connecting route along the Family Cycle Trail - making the walk 6 miles in total.

This varied trail takes you through the magnificent oak and pine woodland of the Cannop Valley and leads you around the tranquil ponds themselves, allowing you to spot the many birds and other wildlife which inhabit the area.

Keep an eye out for the nesting Swans, beautiful Mandarin Ducks, elusive Woodpeckers and the occasional pair of Fallow Deer making their way through the trees.
